FrameDealer created a video for the opening ceremony of the first edition of GMIS: Global Manufacturing & Industrialization Summit in the United Arab Emirates.
This project brought together experts from around the world in the making of a video installation that would combine video projection, choreography and holograms to create an engaging 3D experience for the audience.
The premiere took place in the auditorium of the Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi. The university theater was set up with a rear projection over the entire usable portion of the stage. In the foreground of the stage we installed a thin photosensitive net. On this surface we have projected video contents that served as a complementary integration for those playing in the background. The result is the creation of a space inside the projection, where a performer could interact three-dimensionally with the contents we projected.
This installation created a perfect interaction between the real and the virtual, resulting in a very immersive show presented at the beginning of the works on the Emir of Abu Dhabi, in front of all the leading figures in the politics and industry of the United Arab Emirates.
