The title is Vestae, which means: to Vesta. The project created with Eligo for the 2016 edition of the Salone del Mobile by Creative Academy together with the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art and with the support of Maison Van Cleef & Arpels, is dedicated to the Goddess of domestic life, the house and the sacred flame.

We directed this video clip with Margherita Tondelli thinking of Vestae , a domestic beauty, seen as an alchemist would see beauty itself. The narrative focuses on delicate and eye-catching materials such as natural sponge, soap and honeycomb fabric. The soundtrack is a Caribbean House masterpiece.

The products are made by 20 international students of the Creative Academy, the international design school founded in Milan by the Richemont group in 2003. Eligo followed and guided the students both in the design and the discussion with local artisans for the creation of the collection.

The exhibition and the premiere of the video took place in Milan during the Fuori Salone expo, in the exceptional location of the Albergo Diurno Venezia.
